Half Term Kids Activities
During half term the following classes for children are not running: Homework Club and Baby, Toddler and Junior Yoga with Sally – all of these will resume the following week.
BUT we have added a few fabulous extras to our programme especially for half term! Booking is required - if you would like to reserve a place onto any of the classes below please call reception on 01743 467755.
Acro Dance – Age 5+ Monday at 1:30 - 2:30pm, and Age 10+ Tuesday 1-2pm
This is an Acrobatic Dance class as seen in the dance technique used by dance group ‘Diversity’.
Jazz/Modern Dance – Age 5+ Monday at 2:45 - 3:45pm, and Age 10+ Tuesday 2:30 - 3:30pm
Jazz and Modern dance class incorporating technique, dance inspired games and learning a piece of choreography.
Contemporary Dance and Choreography Workshop – (Age 13+) Tuesday 12:30 - 2:30pm
Contemporary Dance workshop that will include technique, improvisation, contact work and learning/developing a piece of choreography.
Teen Yoga – (Age 13+) Tuesday 3-4pm
This class will look at the some of the key yoga postures and breathing exercises beneficial for teenagers to bring a sense of calm and well-being.
Contemporary Dance - (Age 10+) Wednesday 2-3:30pm.
You will learn to move fluidly in and out of the floor and the class will build to create dynamic sequences of dance.
Junior Box Fit – (Age 10+) Friday 11:30 - 12:30.
Get fit using boxing techniques, a thorough all-round work out for all. Classes will include pad-work and a cardio/strength workout.
Junior Bootcamp – (Age 10+) Friday 1- 2pm.
An exhilarating fitness session that improves your fitness and works out every muscle - incorporating agility, circuits and training drills.
