Did You See Us On BBC Midland Today and Central TV?!
As we open up our outdoor facilities we were featured on BBC Midland Today and Central TV showing us getting the #BASE area and the tennis courts ready for action during their Friday evening news programme. Alvin was the star of the show and he is on again Monday (29th) evening to talk about how the first day went. He will have his own show before long!
Please do remember that everything offered over the next two weeks is outdoors and the indoor building will be closed. We are open only to members and everything is free - we will not charge for membership until we can open the Club on April 12th.
Please check the website for all the classes that are on offer in the #BASE area and the outdoor tennis courts can be reserved by contacting our Director of Tennis, Simon Haddleton either by text (07748 654521) or e-mail ([email protected]). The courts will be available each day 9.00am - 7.00pm and are available to book on the hour.
We realise that the two weeks we are open outdoors coincide with the school Easter holidays and so we are going to offer a junior activity Tennis Factory session at 10am and 6pm every weekday. These sessions will involve basic skills and games involving tennis. Equipment will be provided and they will be a fun, interactive exercise activity and children do not need to have any tennis knowledge or skills to take part and enjoy the session. To book your child on one of the tennis factory sessions please contact our Director of Tennis, Simon Haddleton either by text (07748 654521) or e-mail ([email protected]).
For those of you who are really keen to get started with some exercise and would like to try something different to the #BASE classes, we would highly recommend our Cardio Tennis classes. These will be running on Tuesday at 1.00pm & Thursday at 5.00pm. They are a combination of cardiovascular activity and tennis-based games and bring a bit of fun to your weekly exercise schedule. Please contact Simon to book a space either by text (07748 654521) or e-mail ([email protected]).
